"Dirt" by The Stooges is a good song. So is "Zero" by Smashing Pumpkins. Maybe songs with four-letter titles are inherently good.
I went for a drive around the lake after work, today. Then, I went down those great, smooth roads in Greene. It was lovely.
My room is always so cold & drafty. I discovered, this evening, that one of my windows was slightly open at the top. I latched it shut, & it already feels much nicer.
I got Burger King for dinner (my old workplace). A double-cheeseburger (plain, with just bacon & cheese). Medium meal with a fry & root-beer. Also a six-piece nugget, which I put on the burger with the fries. Indulged in some incredible brownies my mom made from scratch.
I started rewatching "Malcom in the Middle" as I cleaned my room. Great show. I cleared some decent floor-space, & I plan on getting rid of a bunch of old clothes this weekend (they take up a majority of space in my room).
I went outside to smoke. It's 5° F out there, but the air is still, so there's no wind-chill. I'd just done laundry, & my clothes were still warm from the dryer. I wore pajama-pants over my sweatpants, my night-sweater over a t-shirt, slipper-socks over my wool socks, & my robe beneath my coat.
A great horned owl was hooting in the woods (it's their mating-season). I went for a walk around the block, & I sat on the brick stoop which is eroding into pieces. The moon is nearly full, & shadows cast upon the bright snow. The stars are dazzling bright against the brilliantly deep blue sky.
I smoked my last two cigarettes. I usually smoke Camels, but I shook things up with some yellow American Spirits. They suck, not because they're yellow American Spirits (those are good cigarettes), but just because they're cigarettes. I hope I don't buy any more.
It's a good night. I feel good.
