~ Der Passion-Streit ~

~ If all our human efforts to improve the state of the world are ultimately doomed to achieve no final success - this should change nothing of our struggle to bring such victory to fruition. ~

I must say, I don't believe we are so-doomed. Nevertheless, if the snide & arrogant remarks of the selflessly lazy & those willingly-unvisionary were to be true, that should not diminish our eternal flame of resistance against forces & foes of ill-will & folly.

If we are doomed to suffer those systemic plagues which beset us… - 

It is enough to STRIVE, with undying PASSION, towards the idealistic hope of change.

I call this the principle of the ~ Passion-Strife ~ .

Every single action we take to improve the wellbeing of ourselves or any other being or thing which exists, every single rebellious & revolutionary movement throughout history & the present, every single sociopolitical ideal we hold dear - all these are borne of that indefatigable Passion-Strife innate to us all: that supreme expression of the indomitable human spirit.

As a beautiful flame atop a Zoroastrian temple burns ceaselessly against the dark of night, we must fuel that cosmic Spark of GOODness...

(borne & begotten into us all from the primordial deaths of ancient stars… HintHintHint-SeeTheNameOfThisBlog*)

...which enflames all of our individual & collective energies & agencies, so we may cast that magical flame of ACTION against the dark shadows of HATRED, APATHY, & WRONGDOING which besiege our lives at all times.

We must embrace brilliant ASHA against withering DRUJ (in Zoroastrianism, that splendid religion from ancient Persia/Iran which came from the teachings of Zarathustra a.k.a Zoroaster:

• "asha/arta" (aṣ̌a/arta) can roughly-though-tenuously be translated into English, from Avestan, as "righteousness" or "truth".

• "druj", on the other hand, is the obverse: "falsehood" or "deceit". 

  
  

Despite my atheism & ultimate anti-theism, I find wonderful influence & great beauty in many religions, though perhaps Zoroastrianism above all).

So, my friends, my point is - despite the endless, crushing despair of the conditions of this world we have been thrown-into,…

(research Heidegger’s 👎 concepts of “geworfenheit”: “thrownness”, into “Dasein”: the unique state of our self-aware human existence - Also, screw Heidegger. He had some good ideas, but he was fucking Nazi scum & should have been shot like the plague-ridden rat all Nazis were, as should & hopefully will be done to any pestilent pieces of scheiße who carry their ideals into this modern age)

… WE MUST NOT LOSE OUR PASSION, NOR OUR WILL TO STRIVE. 

That is precisely the goal (intentional of the wicked, unintentional of the ignorant) of those who use their willpower, in this one life we lead, to diminish the wellbeing of others. 

I rewrite, more directly - just as bad as directed wickedness & cruelty are Apathy & Nihilism (I almost detest the latters more strongly than the formers). 

We each have one life to lead. There is no fate or destiny to guide us, no afterlife to anticipate, nor Savior in which to harness our hopes so we may settle into Non-Doing. 

We must create the change necessary to overcome the cruel & destructive forces of our human manufacture.

More than simply our freedom which we SHOULD do, I believe it is our Duty which we MUST do.

Blake's frequent painting of flame on or around Orc, who represents the spirit of revolution & societal change, is influential on my descriptions of passion & action, visible in this short essay.
